Cahoots!

So, my little trip away in London was lovely and consisted of shopping, theatre, food and friends (you can't go wrong really!)A little highlight was a wonderful bar we went to after we saw Charlie and the Chocolate factory.

Hidden away in the side streets of Soho is this little gem of a bar- Cahoots!
This new bar is set in a 1940s air shelter and it is suitably decorated like a 1940s tube station. When you go down the stairs you are transported into the past, the staff, the interior and the music all whisk you back in time.

The menus are old 1940s newspapers and there are three pages of drinks on offer including amazing cocktails! We took a while to choose which ones we wanted, but all opted for something different so we could get a flavour of each others. After ordering the drinks you are then given glasses of water to sip between cocktails and also popcorn which is in a vintage tin.

I went for Apples and Pears, and oh my gosh, the best cocktail I have had.  It was so sweet and refreshing. The choice of cocktails are so different and inventive which makes it impossible to decide. I had a little sip of the cocktails that my friends chose which were also so damn tasty! The cocktails costed around £10 each which is standard for London prices but the money is well worth it.

I would really recommend this stunning little bar, the staff are very friendly and attentive and there is a lovely atmosphere. A perfect little pit stop from the hustle and bustle of 21st century life where you can enjoy a drink in 1940s London.
