Lazy Sundays

A June Sunday in Wales. Sadly yet again it is raining and despite the glorious sunshine we were blessed with yesterday, the gloomy grey clouds and drizzly showers have hit Cardiff full force today. 

What to do, what to do ?

Go outside, wander through the rain or have the ultimate lazy Sunday? 

Not exactly a hard choice. 

A Sunday sort out 

Sunday is a day to complete those pesky little tasks you put off doing in the week, like cleaning the house and paperwork.  For me and my boyfriend we used the morning to clean up after our little dinner party we had the night before. That was our morning, but the rest of the day took a little bit of a slower pace.  

A Sunday movie.

We lucked out today and found 80s films running all day on channel 5. The land before Time, The Princess Bride and Dirty Dancing. Perfect Sunday movies. Whilst watching these, I got out my colouring book (I feel about 8 typing that out). This is however, a grown up colouring book and it's so therapeutic and you really do get such satisfaction when you have coloured in a page really well.(well I do anyway)

A Sunday Treat 

As it is a Sunday, we did have a sneaky treat .  Krispy Kreme doughnuts, yummmmm. Diets are for Mondays not Sundays and you have to have that last little treat before the strict healthy eating begins. 

A Sunday Board Game

I do get a little restless if I sit and watch TV all day so we whacked out a board game. Monopoly!!We even managed to remain friends throughout the game which is a miracle since we're both so competitive. Has anyone actually ever finished this game? We tend to just call it quits after an hour or so, it's never-ending!

A Sunday Pamper 

I don't know about anyone else but Sunday is always a bath day. I love relaxing in a bubble bath, watching a few you tube videos and taking some time out before the chaos of a new week begins.I spent the rest of the night packing my bag for London the next day, two days off work to spend with two of my closest friends,glorious!
